Fishers-based audio experience solutions provider Vibenomics recently partnered with Kroger to provide entertainment inside Kroger stores nationwide.
Vibenomics is a location-based Audio Out-of-Home advertising and experience company.
“We are the end-to-end solution from what the entertainment is inside their store for audio, for the engagement, the branded location message for those stores, from that all the way through selling ad inventory on behalf of Kroger,” Audio OOH president and Vibenomics CSO Paul Brenner said.
Vibenomics will provide custom playlists for the store as well as in-store marketing.
“It’s a bit unique in that we don’t just get folded into it. Our technology is not giving them a service they sell for themselves,” Brenner said. “We sell the inventory. What that turns into is a greater value for our company, both selling subscription services we would to anyone else, a monthly fee and the opportunity to generate more revenue for ourselves by selling advertising as opposed to selling Kroger’s software and getting that benefit.”
The partnership launched July 20 in the store’s 2,300 locations.
Brenner, a Geist resident, hopes the partnership will lead to future conversations with companies larger than Kroger.
“Our growth plan is to take the largest market share we can, both convenience store, grocery and probably pharma, over the next 18 months to get as much of that share as we can,” Brenner said. “We are going to use the next 24 months to scale quickly with Kroger or Kroger-like companies.”
However, Brenner said there’s a focus for Vibenomics to help local companies, too.
“We are not just growing nationally, we are trying to include other local companies, Fishers companies or Indianapolis-based companies, in that growth with us,” he said.
