Westfield Playhouse’s ’A Raisin in the Sun’ postponed again

0
Main Street Productions President Brandi Davis announced Nov. 6 the performances of “A Raisin in the Sun” set for Nov. 12-22 at Westfield Playhouse have been postponed.
“We have actors in the production who are showing symptoms of COVID so we will not be able to open (Nov. 12),” said Davis, whose organization runs the shows held at Westfield Playhouse.
This is the second time the production has been shut down. Less than a week before the March 20 opening, it was shut down due to gathering restrictions orders amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Davis said at this juncture Main Street Productions  is not intending to reschedule the production though it is still hoping to offer a single viewing of the livestream. However, no details are available at this time until the organization communicates with the licensing house. For more, visit westfieldplayhouse.org.
