Hamilton County opened its COVID-19 vaccination site Jan. 11 at the 4H Fairgrounds in Noblesville. Howard and Eddie Patterson, both 87, of Fishers were the first to receive vaccinations there. Howard, who has been married to Eddie for 67 years, said he is most looking forward to being able to eat breakfast in a restaurant again after staying home because of the pandemic. Vaccinations at the site are available only to residents 80 and older, but the county soon expects to open it up to residents 70 and older followed by those 60 and older.
