Scrip Companies, a leading medical distribution company has acquired Advantage Medical Equipment and Supply, Inc., of Carmel, Indiana.  “Advantage Medical is a terrific business and its President, Jeff Worrell, is a thought leader in the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation space who is also one of the founders of the National Medical Alliance, now known as MOtion1”, said Matt Taylor, CEO of Scrip Companies.  “I am excited to have Jeff as a part of our management team.  Jeff will continue as President of Advantage Medical and will lead our combined efforts in the PT/Rehab Division of Scrip Companies.”
The Advantage acquisition along with our existing ProMedXpress business will continue our focus on providing a one stop shop, value pricing and excellent customer service to clinics, therapists and GPO’s in the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation markets.
“I am very happy about joining Scrip and look forward to expanding our combined presence in the rehab market”, stated Mr. Worrell.  Teaming up with Scrip will allow us the opportunity to grow our combined business and continue to offer unparallel service levels to our customers.  Scrip and Advantage will continue to offer their unique “turnkey” service for new clinic setup and installation, as well as onsite vending while enhancing clinical supply delivery and internet ordering capabilities.
Scrip Companies has divisions in many specialty healthcare markets.  ScripHessco and Massage Warehouse are the number one distributors in the Chiropractic and Massage Therapy markets, respectively.  Scrip also serves the Spa market through its New Life division.
