Noblesville Police Department officers are searching for an armed robber that stole from the CVS pharmacy, 111 Lakeview Dr., at approximately 6:27a.m. Nov. 26.

“A short time later, officers arrived on the scene and secured the business. A perimeter was quickly coordinated and a police K-9 from the Westfield Police Department conducted a search of the area,” explained NPD Spokesman Lt. Bruce Barnes. “The K-9 search lasted approximately one hour and was called off around 7:30 a.m. without the suspect being located.”

Store employees identified the suspect as a light-skinned male, approximately 5’06” tall and weighting 130 pounds. He was described as wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses and a scarf across his face.

“Employees indicated that he displayed a handgun during the robbery and demanded medication from the pharmacy. The suspect was able to take an undisclosed and undetermined amount of medication during the robbery and allegedly fled the store through a rear door,” Barnes said.

There were no reports of store employees being injured during the incident. Barnes said there was one area school, Legacy Christian School, within the vicinity of the search grid that was informed of the incident. Representatives of the school chose to impose a voluntary lockdown of the school as a result.
