Self-Storage Facility Being Built in Duke Realty’s Anson Development

Duke Realty Corporation will build a 1,700-acre, mixed-use self-service storage facility in Anson, on the northwest side of Indianapolis just off I-65. The planned facility, which is scheduled to open in July 2013, will include 500 enclosed storage units, some of which will be climate controlled. The units will range in size from 50 square feet to 250 square feet.

Self-Storage at Anson will offer both climate and non-climate controlled units so that residents have a choice on the type of space they lease. The facility will be the first in the area to offer non-climate controlled units, an option that many people have wanted for items that don’t require a heated or cooled environment.

Anson is Duke Realty’s 1,700-acre, master-planned development along Interstate 65 in southeast Boone County, where people can live, work, shop and play. The southern portion of Anson, just off SR 334, includes a variety of housing options, including apartments, townhouses and single-family homes, as well as retail service providers, places of worship, schools, emergency medical facilities and physician offices, parks, green spaces, and other public gathering areas. On the north end of the community, Duke Realty has teamed with Browning Investments to develop AllPoints at Anson, the commercial district of Anson which will provide 7.4 million square feet of commercial business/distribution space. Currently, Amazon.com and Express Scripts have operations in AllPoints at Anson.
