Opal Marie Kosinski Stickney, 86, of Westfield passed away Nov. 2, 2014. She was born in Altoona, Mich., on August 7, 1928, to the late William and Irene Ostrander Kosinski. Opal attended Stanwood Free Methodist, Stanwood, Mich.
In addition to her parents, Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Stickney; brother, Walter Kosinski; niece, Marilyn Fryover; and special friend, Rick Scholz. Survivors include: sister, Cerobia (Grant) Heffernan; nieces, Karen Heffernan and Beth (Neal) Hoard; nephews, Gary (Faith) Heffernan and Bill (Donna) Kosinski; several great-nieces and nephews; special friend, Penny Scholz Worthington.
A memorial service was held on Nov. 15. Arrangements were entrusted to Bussell Family Funerals, Westfield-Carmel.
