Howard M. Adkins, 87, Noblesville, died March 2 at Riverview TCU. He was born June 5, 1928 to Melvin and Pearl (Randall) Adkins in Somerset, Ky.
Howard worked as a personnel placement analyst for AT&T (formerly Western Electric), retiring in 1983. He was a member of Cicero Christian Church and had a great love for God, his family and his family of God. Howard loved the game of golf and enjoyed the senior group at Fox Prairie. He and his wife enjoyed traveling and collected more than 100 score cards from the golf courses they played.
Howard is survived by his wife, Jane Adkins; granddaughter, Kelly (John) Stewart; four great-granddaughters; three great-great-grandsons; and two great-great-granddaughters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Charlotte Wilson; one grandson; and one great-great-grandson. Howard was the last one living of nine children, as six sisters and two brothers also preceded him in death.
