Several locations in Zionsville, including Zionsville Community High School and Eagle Elementary School, are on lockdown after a shooting in the area.

Zionsville police are searching for a black male driving a late model white Chevrolet who is believed to be connected to a shooting in front of a home on Terrace Drive.

ZPD Sgt. Adrian Martin said it is unknown if the victim survived, but he has been transported to a hospital. He said the suspect is believed to have used a high-caliber rifle in the shooting, but little else is known.

“We don’t even have a clothing description at this time,” he said.
