One of central Indiana’s most popular—and generous—restaurant chains has a delicious reason for Hoosiers to donate blood on March 15. Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day or watching some tournament TV, Scotty’s Brewhouse will give a $5 gift card waiting for everyone who visits an Indiana Blood Center donor center except Terre Haute, while supplies last.

“We love to serve pints and pickles, and can’t think of a better way to thank those very special people who volunteer to donate blood,” stated Scott Wise, founder of Scotty’s Brewhouse. “Helping others in need in our community is a deeply rooted value at Scotty’s and we are very proud of this partnership.”

Scotty’s Brewhouse has a corporate commitment to charitable giving and is well known for its commitment to hiring people with disabilities.

Indiana Blood Center must see 500 donors every day to meet the needs of hospital patients.

“Donating blood is a unique service to others and it takes a special person willing to step up and give,” stated Andrea L. Fagan, director of public relations and marketing for Indiana Blood Center. “We think Scotty’s Brewhouse customers are just our type.”

Scotty’s Brewhouse is a popular spot in central Indiana. Donors are strongly encouraged to schedule an appointment for March 15 online at donorpoint.org or by calling 800-532-4722.
