Students at Noblesville West Middle School were in for a surprise when they walked into school Wednesday morning to see dozens of athletes, mascots, cheerleaders and more from Indianapolis-based professional sports teams.
The Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever, Indianapolis Colts, Indy Eleven, Indy Fuel, Indianapolis Indians and Indianapolis Motor Speedway organizations all were represented.
In addition to giving wishing students a great first day of school, retired Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee gave the morning announcements.
