The driver of the Pontiac was identified as Cheryl A. Joy, 69, of Cicero and was transported by ground ambulance to Riverview Health for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators from the NPD Accident Reconstruction Unit were summons to the scene to collect evidence and gather information. As a result of the investigation, northbound traffic on Ind. 37 from Ind. 32 to 191st Street was closed until approximately 3:30 p.m.
