Registration is open for CarmelFest Has Talent, the annual vocal competition that takes place at CarmelFest in July.
This year, more than just vocalists will be eligible for the competition. Kelli Lewis, co-director of the show, said she is excited to offer more opportunities for community members to get involved. The three categories are: 15 and younger, 16 and older and solo instrumentalist and ensembles.
“It is going to be a change having that new category,” Lewis said. “We’re excited to hopefully get a lot of people (to) come out for that, because we think it will really add some excitement to the show.”
